Review #042 – Lego Voyagers
Relationship building.
If you’re on the lookout for more casual couch co-op games to play with your partner (or other friends and family, of course) then you should check out Lego Voyagers. It’s cute, easy to play, and not a huge time commitment—it checked all the boxes my wife and I typically look for.
The majority of the game has you working together with your partner to solve Lego-themed puzzles and complete tasks. Nothing gets super head-scratching or difficult but some sections were more involved than I anticipated. Parts where each player has to control separate components of a vehicle (like a boat or dump truck) are relatively intricate.
I really like the game’s super crisp and clean visual aesthetic, not to mention how cute the little Lego brick dudes are. My wife and I finished the entire game (and even went back and got every trophy on PS5) in just over 6 hours. It’s not a massively intense game or anything but for a casual co-op game I think Light Brick Studios really nailed what they were going for.
