Review #006 – Tiny Terry's Turbo Trip
Don't skip this turbo trip.

Lots of dumb, chaotic fun. It doesn’t have any particularly inventive mechanics or technical innovation but I had a great time running around the small town and doing odd jobs for citizens. Completing tasks will reward you with junk that can be spent on upgrading your car’s boost, allowing Terry to eventually reach his goal of driving to space (did I mention this game is goofy as hell?).
The world is a small, open sandbox where you can explore and do stuff at your leisure. Junk parts are scattered everywhere and can be found by platforming around or completing mini games. You will eventually find other tools like a pipe to hit things, or a shovel to uncover buried treasure.
It’s not super long (took me ~3 hours) but it was a stupid, fun time. The game’s writing is particularly funny and there were a couple of parts that had me giggling quite a bit. The gameplay isn’t cutting-edge but it clearly isn’t trying to be and that’s totally OK with me.
